I highly recommend the Orkney Storytelling Festival. The talented group of Orkney tellers will be joined by visiting tellers from elsewhere in Europe. And the festival will be held at fascinating locations in Orkney.
Also, read the story about "Broonie of Copinsay", the mascot of the Festival and the Orcadian Storytelling Trust. It is a wonderful tale, truly unique and distinctive to Orkney.
